Biography:

Phal Kalyana is a professional hotelier turns technology enthusiast, a loving wife and a mother of 3 girls. Graduating a Tourism Management degree at Royal University of Phnom Penh, and another in English for Translation and Interpretation, she pursued her dream job at an international 5 star hotel in Phnom Penh, climbing the corporate ladder from a secretary to Assistant Director of Sales department. After 8 years of hospitality, Kalyana switch direction passionately to a technology startup bringing a ride-hailing platforms, TADA, to Cambodia and fast forward the achievement in one of the top 3 in the country fighting against all odds during covid-19. After being the Head of Operations and Corporate Sales for 3 years at TADA, Kalyanalater pursuing another start-up focusing on development of simple technology for the grassroots farmers and local micro-entrepreneurs to have access to safe and accessible microloans to sustain their business, funded by Gojo & Company Inc., a financial inclusion focused investment groups based in Japan. She is a strong believer in Buddha’s wisdom, “Live good, do good, love good”.
