Biography:

Sopheara REAL, a school counsellor manager of the Western International School (WIS) which is aim to promote school counselling program where students’ well-being, students’ academic achievement and staff capacity building are critically considered in the whole school environment. Sopheara graduated Bachelor degree in Teaching, English Education at Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), Master Degree of Art in Social Work at RUPP, and Master Degree of Psychotherapy and Counselling at Western Sydney University, Australia. Sopheara has many years working experience in teaching young children, social work, family development, women empowerment, budget management, project management, healthcare, childcare, networking, supervision, counselling, psychotherapy and training with different target groups such as poor community people, women, children and the most at risk groups in promotinghigher education, sustainable living condition and mental well-being. She is inspired by self-exploration, acceptance and empathy which are keys to unlock individual potentialities and self-growth.
